ITINERARY

Day 1 Thursday, May 14     DEPARTURE
Depart from Kennedy with Air France. Flight # AF023 leaves at 4:35pm. Check-in should be at least 3 hours prior departure.

Day 2 Friday, May 15     LYON
Arrive at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport at 6:05am. Meet your tour guide. Coach to Lyon. Welcome meetings, followed by dinner.

Day 3 Saturday, May 16      LYON
Visit Mother House of the Sisters of St. Joseph, the room of Mother St. John Fontbonne, the Chapel, Notre Dame de Fourviere and the grave of Mother St. John. Meeting at 5:30pm followed by dinner.      

Day 4 Sunday, May 17     LE PUY
From Lyon to Le Puy-en-Velais, we will stop in Monistrol and Bas-en-Basset for a visit and prayers. Meeting followed by dinner.

Day 5 Monday, May 18     LE PUY
Drive to the Community of the Institute of St. Joseph. Visit the 17th century kitchen and the archives, then proceed with your guide to see Place Martouret and the Cathedral. Meeting for group prayers followed by dinner.

Day 6 Tuesday, May 19      LE PUY
Day at leisure in Le Puy. Meeting for group prayers followed by dinner.

Day 7 Wednesday, May 20     ANNECY
Depart for Annecy, via Grenoble, Valence and Chambery. In the afternoon, visit the Mother House of the Sisters of St. Joseph in Annecy. Group prayers in the garden followed by dinner.

Day 8 Thursday, May 21     ANNECY
Morning guided tour of Annecy including the Old Town and the Cathdral. Group prayers followed by dinner.

Day 9 Friday, May 22     CLUNY
Depart for Taize. Arrival for lunch and midday prayers. Afternoon in Taize. Overnight in Cluny. Dinner.

Day 10 Saturday, May 23     PARIS
Visit Cluny before leaving for Paris. Dinner.

Day 11 Sunday, May 24     PARIS
Full day guided tour of Paris. We will visit Notre Dame, the Sainte Chapelle and the Basilica of the Sacre Coeur of Montmartre. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner cruise on the River Siene.

Day 12 Monday, May 25     RETURN
Transfer to Charles de Gaulle airport. Air France flight # AF 012 leaves at 10:15am. Expected arrival time at Kennedy is 12:10pm.

This price includes:

  • Round trip flight from Kennedy with Air France.
  • Airport and security taxes at approximately $115.00 and “Q” taxes for fuel surcharge at $330.00, subject to adjustment at time of ticketing.
  • Private room for meetings and prayers.
  • 10 nights accommodation in double or triple room.
  • Breakfast and dinner daily.
  • Service of an English/French speaking tour escort.
  • All visits as per itinerary.
  • Entrance fees during sightseeing as per itinerary.
  • Deluxe motorcoach.

This price does not include:

  • Single room supplement + $625.00.
  • Cost of personal items such as phone, drinks, laundry, etc.
  • Meals other than specified.
  • Optional travel insurance.
  • Passport & visa fee.
    Everyone needs a passport valid until November 25, 2009. If you are not an American citizen a visa may be required. A green card is compulsory.

One registration form per passenger is required. This form can be found inside each brochure. Fill out the form and mail it with your $1,000.00 deposit, copy of your passport if available, and the optional travel insurance to:

Register online, then mail your deposit immediately with copy of your passport, if available, and the optional travel insurance. In the comments please give the following information: Roommate(s) name(s), type of room (single or double).

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Your deposit will secure your reservation with the airline, the hotel and other suppliers. It must be sent with a copy of your passport, this registration form and the optional travel insurance premium if you choose to purchase it.

Space may still be available after final due date indicated, but pricing at that time will be stipulated by the airline and will depend on availability of seats at time ticket is issued.

Don’t wait for the last minute to register. Space is limited and could be sold out.

Deposit: $1,000.00 ($150.00 of which is non-refundable) by check only, to be received prior to January 14, 2009 and within 7 days of your registration online.

Balance due no later than February 16, 2009
After February 16, 2009 full payment is due with registration.

Credit card payments:
We accept Visa and Mastercard. Since merchant fees are not included in the price, should you wish to pay by credit card, a 3.5% supplement applies to the amount paid.

Cancellation:
All cancellations must be sent in writing. In case of cancellation the following penalties will apply:

  • $150.00 non refundable processing fee.
  • $200.00 additional ($350.00 total) for cancellation received between January 14 and February 12, 2009.
  • Penalty of 50% of the total value of the trip cost for cancellation received between February 13 and March 30, 2009 .
  • Penalty of 100% of the value of the trip cost for cancellation received on or after March 31, 2009 and in case of no-show .

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We strongly recommend that you avail yourself of travel insurance as protection against penalties as well as baggage damage and travel delays. Without insurance, if you cancel your trip within a few days of the departure date, the total value of the trip will not be refunded. Pre-existing medical conditions are covered only if the insurance registration has been submitted within 14 days of sending your deposit.
