ITINERARY
Day 1 Friday, March 6 DEPARTURE
Depart from Philadelphia airport with Air France. Flight AF # 365 leaves at 6:55pm. Check-in at Philadelphia should be around 4:00pm. Transfer from Harrisburg campus to Philadelphia will be provided.
N.B. Depending on the final size of the group, either a private transfer will be arranged at an additional cost or public transportation will be considered.
Day 2 Saturday, March 7 SEVILLE
Arrive at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport at 8:15am. Your connecting flight to Madrid AF # 1300 leaves at 9:35am and arrives Madrid Barajas Airport at 11:35am. Assistance and transfer to Atocha station for you train to Seville. On arrival, assistance and transfer to Hotel Don Paco to check in for your 5 night stay.
Day 3 Sunday, March 8 SEVILLE
Full day at leisure in Seville to visit this beautiful city, famous for the cathedral (former mosque) with the “Giralda” bell tower, the Alcazar (Moorish palace), medieval Barrio Santa Cruz, Fine Art Museum, “Gold Tower”, Main Plaza, Maria Luisa Park, Roman ruins of Italica, shops galore and sidewalk cafes where you can enjoy the early spring!
Day 4 Monday, March 9 SEVILLE CORDOBA
Full day excursion to Cordoba (8 hour tour). The drive is slightly over one hour. First enjoy a 2 ½ hour tour with a local English speaking guide: visit the renowned former Great Mosque known as the "Mezquita” and the “Juderia”, an old medieval Jewish quarter. Remainder of the day in Cordoba is on your own. Return to Seville late afternoon.

Day 5 Tuesday, March 10 SEVILLE
Full day at leisure in Seville.
This evening enjoy a FLAMENCO performance, the traditional dance and music of Andalucia. Walk to the venue where the show will be performed. Drinks are included (no transfers).
Day 6 Wednesday, March 11 GRANADA SEVILLE
Full day excursion to Granada by coach (12 hour tour). Meet your local guide at the Alhambra Palace for a 2 ½ hour tour of the Palace and the Generalife Gardens. Free time to explore on your own to see the Cathedral and the nearby street market. If time allows, you may also enjoy the oldest section of Granada, and walk along the narrow cobbled streets of the Albaicin Quarter, before returning to Seville.
Day 7 Thursday, March 12 SEVILLE MADRID
Assistance and transfer to Santa Justa train station to take your train to Madrid. On arrival at Atocha station, assistance and transfer to your hotel. Check-in at hotel Florida Norte for the next 3 nights. Remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 8 Friday, March 13 MADRID
Morning guided tour of Madrid (4 hour tour) including a 1 ½ hour tour of the Prado Museum. This famous museum features one of the world's finest collections of European Art, from the 12th century through to the early 19th century. In the afternoon you may visit on your own the Reina Sofia Museum and Picasso’s most famous painting: Guernica.
Day 9 Saturday, March 14 MADRID
Day at leisure to visit more of the treasures of Madrid. You can visit the Royal Palace and the Villahermosa Palace with the famous Thyssen-Bornemisza collection.
Day 10 Sunday, March 15 RETURN
Assistance and transfer to Barajas airport for Air France flight AF # 2301 leaving at 8:00am, arriving Paris Charles de Gaulle at 10:05am. Connecting flight to Philadelphia AF # 366 leaves at 1:30 PM and arrives Philadelphia at 5:10pm.

This price includes:
- Round trip flights from Philadelphia to Madrid via Paris with Air France.
- Transfers between Penn State Harrisburg campus and Philadelphia airport (see note below in reference to this service).
- Airport and security taxes at $125.00 (subject to adjustment
at time of ticketing).
- "Q" tax for fuel surcharge at $330.00 as per August 2008 (subject to adjustment
at time of ticketing).
- Transfers, assistance, guide services and sightseeing as per itinerary.
- 8 nights accommodation in double room.
- Buffet breakfast daily.
- Supervision of Penn State Faculty.
- Compulsory Penn State Health Insurance.
This price does not include:
- Single room supplement + $ 515.00.
- Cost of personal items such as phone, drinks, laundry, etc.
- Meals other than specified.
- Optional travel insurance.
- Passport & visa fee:
Everyone needs a passport valid until September15, 2009. If you are not an American citizen a visa may be required. A green card is compulsory.
TRANSFERS CAMPUS / AIRPORT / CAMPUS
Transfers between Penn State Harrisburg campus and international airports such as Newark, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington Reagan, Washington Dulles and Kennedy are usually included in all of our trips. However, as group size is unpredictable, the price of these transfers varies considerably according to the size of the group.
If a minimum of 25 paying passengers are registered for the trip, a coach will be provided and transfer costs are included in the trip price.
If less than 25 paying passengers are registered for the trip, either a supplement will apply for private transportation (maximum $50.00 each way) or public transportation will be considered.
REGISTRATION
Course Registration
Course registration is separate. Upon receipt of your deposit, Celestial Voyagers will send you a receipt that you must present to register for the course.
Trip Registration
All participants planning to share a room must inform Celestial Voyagers when they register for the trip. Failure to do so may oblige Celestial Voyagers to assign you different roommates.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
At Celestial Voyagers, our terms are based on contracts with airlines, hotels and other suppliers. The terms and stipulations mentioned below are bound by these contracts and will be strictly enforced.
Deposit $500.00 ($150.00 of which is a non-refundable processing fee)
Your deposit will assure your reservation with the airline, the hotel and other suppliers. Your deposit must be sent with a copy of your passport as soon as your registration has been made online. Do not forget the optional travel insurance premium if you choose to purchase trip cancellation insurance with Access America.
The sooner you send your deposit, the better. If possible, deposit should be sent prior to December 5. After December 5, space may be available but very limited. After group air space is sold out, a supplement may apply.
Balance due no later than January 16, 2009
All payments to be made by check to Celestial Voyagers escrow account.
Credit card payments
We do accept payment by credit card but since Merchant fees are not included in the price of the trip, should you wish to pay by Visa, Master Card or American Express, a 3.5% supplement will apply on the amount paid.
Cancellation
In case of cancellation penalties will apply. All cancellations must be received in writing.
- $150.00 processing fee if written cancellation is received prior to December 4, 2008 .
- $150.00 additional (total $300.00) if written cancellation is received between December 5, 2008 and January 4, 2009
- Penalty of 50% of the cost of the trip if written cancellation is received between January 5 and February 1, 2009.
- Penalty of 100% of the cost of the trip if written cancellation is received on or after February 2, 2009 and in case of no-show.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that you avail yourself of travel insurance as protection against penalties as well as baggage damage and travel delays. Without insurance, if you cancel your trip within a few days of the departure date, the total value of the trip will not be refunded. Pre-existing medical conditions are covered only if the insurance registration has been submitted within 14 days of sending your deposit.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Travel documents will be sent to Penn State College and delivered by your professor. If your documents have to be sent individually, you must submit your request with your address in writing. A $20.00 mailing fee will apply.
