ITINERARY

Day 1 Saturday, March 7     DEPARTURE
Depart from Kennedy airport at 5:40pm with TAM Airlines. Check-in at Kennedy should be around 2:30pm.

Day 2 Sunday, March 8    SAN SALVADOR
Arrive in Sao Paolo at 6:40am and continuation to San Salvador. Transfer to hotel on arrival and remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 3 Monday, March 9     SAN SALVADOR
Morning tour of the Afro Brazilian Museum. Afternoon visit to Terreiro de Candombe.

Day 4 Tuesday, March 10      SAN SALVADOR
Full day at leisure. Evening dinner and folkloric show.

Day 5 Wednesday, March 11     BRASILIA
Depart San Salvador at 6:20am and arrive in Brasilia at 9:10am. Full day cultural city tour with BBQ lunch. Half day tour for university visit. Professional visit to GRAVIAS METALS. (www.gravia.ind.br). Transfer to airport. Depart Brasilia at 8:40pm, arriving in Rio de Janeiro at 10:15pm. Transfer to hotel.

Day 6 Thursday, March 12     RIO
City tour including the Botanical Garden, Corcovado and BBQ lunch.

Day 7 Friday, March 13     RIO
Full day tour. Visit the Favela Mangueira and its Association. Lunch at a local restaurant. Visit Sugar Loaf Mountain.

Day 8 Friday, March 14 RIO
Full day at leisure. Your flight leaves Rio at 8:05pm via Sao Paolo, arriving in JFK at 5:30am on March 15.

• Airport, security taxes and “Q” tax for fuel surcharge at $197.00 subject to adjustment at time of ticketing.

• Supervision of Penn State Faculty.
• Compulsory Penn State Health Insurance.

  Everyone needs a passport valid until September 15, 2009. If you are not an American citizen a visa may be required. A green card is compulsory.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

At Celestial Voyagers, our terms are based on contracts with airlines, hotels and other suppliers. The terms and stipulations mentioned below are bound by these contracts and will be strictly enforced.

Deposit $500.00 (Non refundable)
$150.00 of which is a non-refundable processing fee.
The sooner you send your deposit, the better - if possible, prior to December 5, 2008. After December 5, if group space is sold out, a supplement may apply due to higher airfare.

All payments by check to be made out to Celestial Voyagers escrow account. Your deposit will secure your reservation with the airline, the hotel and other suppliers.
It must be sent with a copy of your passport as soon as your registration has been made online. Do not forget the optional travel insurance premium if you choose to purchase it.

Balance due no later than Janaury 2, 2009

Credit card payments:
We accept Visa and Mastercard. Since Merchant fees are not included in the price, should you wish to pay by credit card, a 3.5% supplement applies to the amount paid.

Cancellation:
All cancellations must be received in writing. In case of cancellation the following penalties will apply:

• $150.00 processing fee if written cancellation is received prior to December 4, 2008.
• $150.00 additional (total $300.00) if written cancellation is received between December 5, 2008 and January 1, 2009.
• Penalty of 50% of the cost of the trip if written cancellation is received between January 2 and February 1, 2009.
• Penalty of 100% of the cost of the trip if written cancellation is received after February 2, 2009 and in case of no-show.

Travel documents will be sent to Penn State College and delivered by your professor.If your documents have to be sent individually, you must submit your request with your address in writing. A $20.00 mailing fee will apply.
