ITINERARY

Day 1 Saturday, May 16      DEPARTURE
Departure from Philadelphia for an overnight flight to Nice, via Paris with AIR FRANCE.

Day 2 Sunday, May 17     CANNES
On arrival transfer to the Ibis Hotel Cannes La Bocca. The Ibis Hotel is 40 minutes walk along the sea or, a one euro and 10 minute bus ride from Cannes City Centre.

Day 3 Monday, May 18     CANNES
Movie projections will be available on a daily basis. The selection of movies, including English speaking movies will be known only upon arrival. All the suggested sightseeing excursions will be re-arranged depending on the movie calendar. Today, enjoy Cannes and the unique atmosphere of the Festival.

Day 4 Tuesday, May 19     CANNES
You may want to go by train and spend the day in Monaco. See the Rock with the Cathedral, The Prince Palace and the Oceanographic Museum. Then go to Monte Carlo, famous for its deluxe hotels and Casino.

Day 5 Wednesday, May 20     CANNES
Movie projection and possible excursion to ANTIBES: the old town, the marina and its yachts, the market, the ramparts and the newly re-open Picasso Museum located in the Grimaldi Castle.

Day 6 Thursday, May 21     CANNES
Excursion to Vallauris, a small town known for its potters and Picasso's Peace Chapel.

Day 7 Friday, May 22      CANNES
Possible full day excursion to Nice: see the Flower Market, the Promenade des Anglais, the Old Town and the 2 great Museums dedicated to Matisse and Chagall.

Day 8 Saturday, May 23     CANNES
Another day on the Riviera! You could either go to Vence and see Matisse Chapel, to St. Paul de Vence and see the Maeght Foundation or to Cagnes sur Mer for the Renoir Museum or you may just want to enjoy more movies and the Festival!

Day 9 Sunday, May 24     RETURN
Transfer back to Nice airport for your flight returning to the US.

This price includes:

• Air France flights from Philadelphia to Nice, via Paris.
• Airport taxes and "Q" tax for fuel surcharge based on a total of $500.00 subject to increase and adjustment at time of ticketing.
• Transfers from Nice International airport to Cannes La Bocca and return.
• 7 nights accommodation at Hotel Ibis in Cannes La Bocca - double room.
• Hotel taxes.
• Program for a daily selection of movies presented at the film festival under the "Cinephile section".
• Assistance of Faculty members.
• Assistance of a French speaking tour manager.
• Travel consultant services at all times.

This price does not include:

• Transportation to and from Philadelphia.
• Compulsory Penn State insurance.
• Meals (daily breakfast is available for 8 euros each, to be paid directly to the hotel).
• Single room supplement (subject to availability) + $875.00.
• Public transportation, entrance fees or guided tours for daily excursion escorted by French tour manager, as suggested in the itinerary. (These excursions will vary and will be re-scheduled, depending on the daily movie calendar which will be known only at arrival time in Cannes.)
• All personal expenses: phones calls, laundry, drinks, etc.
• Optional travel insurance.
• Passport & visa fee.
  Everyone needs a passport valid until November 25, 2009. In case you are not an American citizen a visa may be necessary and you must have your greencard to re-enter the US.

TRANSFERS CAMPUS / AIRPORT / CAMPUS

Transfers between Penn State Harrisburg campus and international airports such us Newark, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington Reagan, Washington Dulles and JFK are usually included in all our trips. However, as group size is unpredictable, the price of these transfers varies considerably according to the size of the group.

If a minimum of 25 paying passengers are registered for the trip, a coach will be provided and transfer costs are included in the trip price.
If less than 25 paying passengers are registered for the trip, either a supplement will apply for private transportation (maximum $50.00 each way) or public transportation will be consdered.

 Course Registration
 Course registration is separate. Upon receipt of your deposit, Celestial Voyagers will send you a receipt that you must present to register for the course.

 Trip Registration
 All participants planning to share a room must inform Celestial Voyagers of their roommate(s) name(s) when they  register for the trip. Failure to do  so may oblige Celestial Voyagers to assign you  different roommates.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

At Celestial Voyagers, our terms are based on contracts with Air France, Ibis Hotels and other suppliers. Regulations below must be strictly enforced as they are related to these contracts with special terms applying specifically to the perios of the Film Festival.

Deposit $1,000.00
Your deposit will secure your reservation with the airline, the hotel and other suppliers. It must be sent with a copy of your passport as soon as your registration has been made online. Do not forget the optional travel insurance premium if you choose to purchase trip cancellation insurance with Access America.

The sooner you send your deposit, the better - if possible, prior to December 12, 2008. Space may be available after December 12 but price is not guaranteed.

All payments by check to be made out to Celestial Voyagers escrow account.

Balance due no later than February 15, 2009

Credit card payments
We accept Visa and Mastercard. Since merchant fees are not included in the price, should you wish to pay by credit card, a 3.5% supplement applies to the amount paid.

Cancellation:
All cancellations must be received in writing. In case of cancellation the following penalties will apply:

• $150.00 non refundable processing fee will apply on all changes.
• Deposit of $1,000.00 is non-refundable, but can be transferred on a new account if a replacement is provided. In case of transfer, the $150.00 processing fee will apply.
• Penalty of 100% of the cost of the trip if written cancellation is received after February 15, 2009 and in case of no-show.
• Name change after February 15 is $250.00 minimum ( + $150.00 processing fee).

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

Travel documents will be sent to Penn State College and delivered by your professor. If your documents have to be sent individually, you must submit your request with your address in writing. A $20.00 mailing fee will apply.
