Contact UsDeparture from the US to go to Catania, Sicily, unless you are already in Europe. Meet with the group, in Taormina. Please advise your flight arrangements to know when you will arrive in Catania.
Arrival Catania, Sicily. Assistance and transfer: pick-up at the airport with a Renault Espace, a 7 passenger van. Drive to Taormina and check-in for 3 nights at the Villa Paradiso located a short walk from the historical centre and the Greek Theatre. Catania / Taormina 57 kms / 45 minutes drive.
Full day excursion to Syracuse. Taormina / Syracuse : 116 kms. 1 hour 15 minutes drive. Do not forget to book space on the ferry to Messina for May 29 with the hotel desk.
Taormina / Agrigento 213 kms – 2h 1/2 drive each way. Velia area Agriturismo Zio Cristoforo.
Leave Taormina after breakfast, drive to Messina. Cross the strait of Messina, by ferry, to San Giovanni on the mainland. Drive to the area of Velia. Overnight at the farm Zio Cristoforo in Casal Velino, 2 kms from the sea and 4 kms away from the ancient ruins of Velia-Elea. Taormina to Zio Cristoforo Farm: 476 kms / 6 1/2 hour drive.
Drive from Velia to Sorrento where you will spend the next 2 nights at the Grand Hotel Angiolieri (superior rooms with sea view, 8km from the centre of Sorrento).
Day to visit Naples and its surroundings. Visit archeological museum in the morning to prepare yourself for the afternoon to explore PompeiI and Ercolano. Naples is only 42 kms away, less than one hour drive
Last day around Sorrento for the visit of the Amalfi Coast. Evening drive to Rome: 260 kms, approximately a 3 hour drive or return the car and take the train which is generally faster. Check-in at Hotel Gambrinus for 2 nights.
Full day excursion with private guide and private car.
Check-out from the hotel Gambrinus. Transfer to go to Fiumicino airport to take your flight back to the US.
