DAY 1 - DEPARTURE

Departure from JFK. Evening flight with AIR FRANCE to go to Marrakech via PARIS CDG

DAY 2 - MARRAKECH

Morning arrival at CDG airport, terminal 2E. Connecting flight leaves from the same terminal and arrives Marrakech around noon.

Check in for 3 nights at Hotel LES JARDINS DE LA KOUTOUBIA

Welcome Dinner:  DAR MOHA Restaurant. : Meet chef and owner for professional exchange.

A graduate of the Ecole Hôtelière de Genève and with fourteen years’ professional experience in Switzerland under his belt, Moha Fedal has become the first chef to reinvent Moroccan cuisine – a challenge he overcomes masterfully thanks to his unfailing creativity and dedication. Dar Moha has quickly risen through the ranks of Morocco’s finest restaurants and Moha now is amongst the most sought after chefs. Next, Chef Moha has set his sights on ensuring Moroccan gastronomy gains recognition as part of the World Cultural Heritage. In pursuit of this goal he has been the ambassador for Moroccan gastronomy through his participation in various international functions and events.

DAY 3 - MARRAKECH

DAY 4 - MARRAKECH

Departure to go and visit the small organic farm of  Chef Tarek located less than 20 miles from Marrakech towards the Atlas Mountains.

Lunch with workshop supervised by Chef Tarik himself who will  explain all the various types of Tajines:

Roll up your sleeves and take part in the preparation of today’s lunch. In a cozy and casual atmosphere, Chef Tarek welcomes his guests in his private farm. Authentic seating adorned with carpets and cushions nestled in organic garden. Your discovery of Moroccan cuisine begins by a tour through the potager, where you gather the ingredients for your meal. Step by step, mix all ingredients to cook a tasteful Moroccan salad and a variety of tajines (vegetables, chicken, lamb or beef) as well as the Tanjia Marrakshia” – a dish named after Marrakech – under the directives of Chef Tarik who will share with you all his knowledge and tips.

Moroccan lunch: 3 course menu. Drink package includes 1 soft drink, ½ bottle of mineral water, tea or coffee.  (no alcohol).

Return to the city for an evening in the Palmeraie where you will enjoy a  lamb roasted over a fire pit  for dinner. The dinner will be set up at the private camp of A & K  (Abercrombie & Kent)

Welcome drink,  4 course dinner, ½ bottle of wine per person, water, tea or coffee  will be served in the Palm Grove with music during dinner.

DAY 5 - FEZ

Morning at leisure.

Lunch at Dar Rhizlane: Best Mediterranean cuisine in Marrakech.

Here, you can taste the great classics, fusion cooking or original creations: the daring presentations provide a subtle touch that brings a new dimension to oriental culinary art.

Mediterranean lunch menu: 3 course menu and drink package: half a bottle of wine. ½ bottle of mineral water, tea or coffee are included.

Afternoon flight between Marrakech and Fes.

Dinner at  Dar Anebar

Moroccan dinner: 3 course menu and drink package: half a bottle of wine. ½ bottle of mineral water, tea or coffee are included.

Anebar, this is the name of the Guessous family elder mother.Now you are-away from the bustling markets and streets-in a quiet and peaceful spacious patio flanked by four two- storey façades. We definitely get the feeling of immersion into the building rich history.  Walking through the gate Bab Guissa you enter the ancient medina of Fes. There stands the historic Palais Jamai Hotel. Beyond this massive building unfolds the intricate network of lanes where an acute orientation capacity is required. We reach a dead-end with rugged walls at the end of which a rustic wooden door opens upon a narrow corridor at the end of which you can read Dar Anebar.

DAY 6 - FEZ

Full day visit Fez including foodies tour in the Medina which is quite different from the one in  Marrakesh. The promenade in the Medina of Fes will be highlighted by specific Culinary Encounters and Gastronomic Wonders such as homemade pickled veggies, Bissara – dried fava beans soup, One of the many specialties Fes is renowned for is Khlea – a preserved beef that Moroccans use it to make fried eggs and usually eat it for breakfast. You will also tate the  local pastries for which Fes is famous.

 

Lunch at RYAD NEJJARINE

Dinner and Cooking class at RYAD MYRA

This workshop will be dedicated to some dishes typical from Fes cuisine. As well as the making of the Moroccan traditional bread.

DAY 7 - FEZ - CASABLANCA

Morning drive to Casablanca:  (200 miles – 31/2). Arrive for lunch at SQALA

Nestled in the ochre walls of the sqala, an 18th-century fortified bastion on the edge of the old medina, this pretty garden restaurant is a tranquil escape from the downtown bustle. It serves briouates(stuffed pastries), tajines, pastillas(savoury pies) and brochettes. No alcohol is served, but there’s a good selection of fresh juices.

Closing gala dinner at Le Pilotis

Inside the Tahiti Beach Club of Casablanca, Le Pilotis welcomes you on its unique terrace facing the sea in a setting between heaven and earth. Locals come here,  on the famous Corniche along the coast to enjoy the food and the view .

3 course Mediterranean menu. Drink package: half a bottle of wine. ½ bottle of mineral water, tea or coffee are included.

 

 

DAY 8 - RETURN

Transfer to Casablanca airport to take your flight back to JFK, via Paris, CDG
