Arrival Paris CDG (or another city in Europe). After going through customs and immigration you will connect and board your flight to Marseille. Group transfer by coach to Avignon.
Should you prefer to travel individually, the group will meet in Avignon which can be reached easily from Paris by TGV, the fast French train.

Full day guided tour of the “Provence Romaine”. First you’ll go to the “Pont du Gard” a Roman aqueduct from the first century BC, then you’ll go to the little town of Orange where the Triumphal Arch and the Antique Theatre are among the best well preserved Roman monuments in Europe.
Free time for lunch on your own
Wine tasting of the famous “Châteauneuf du Pape”
Evening dinner at Restaurant Sevin, a one MIchelin star restaurant. Drink package is included with 2 glasses of wine and 1 hot drink.

Departure for Gordes, one of the most beautiful villages in France: Free time to stroll around; Tuesday is market day.
Proceed to the “Lavender Museum” where you will discover the secrets of the iconic flower of Provence; then to Cavaillon, a town at a crossroads with an interesting Jewish history, famous for its melons.
Gastronomic lunch at a one Michelin star restaurant (drinks not included)
Guided city tour after lunch including the synagogue, a masterpiece of the 18th century Comtamine art.
En route to Lourmarin, stop at “Oppede Le Vieux”, a quaint hilltop village of the Luberon built on a rocky spur amids a hilly landscape of forests, rocks, vines and olive trees.

Departure by bus in the morning to go to Cadenet for a very unique experience with truffles. First you will learn how truffles are growing, how to farm them, and hunt them. You will go with the dogs in search of the precious tuber. After finding some, hopefully, you will discover the rest of the property with wild herbs, vineyards, olive groves and beehives. You’ll return to the farm kitchen, to eat three different hors d’oeuvre with truffles, followed by truffle ice cream with truffle honey, and finally a tasting of organic extra-virgin olive oil, truffle oil and truffle salt, with all you care to drink Champagne. During the tasting you will learn how to buy truffles and truffles products, clean them, store them and prepare them.
Return to Lourmarin. Free time until we meet again for a game of “petanque”, a fun bowl game played in every village of Provence.

Departure for the small village of Eguilles. Meet the Chef who will teach you the secret of the Provencal Cuisine. Under his professional guidance prepare the 3 courses that you will have for lunch.

Return to Lourmarin for an evening at leisure

Leave the Luberon mountains for Les “Alpilles”.
Today excursion starts in “Les Baux de Provence” a magnificent village of Provence
Free time to stroll through the fortified village and to enjoy the unique art show inside the quarry.
Entrance to the “Carriere des Lumieres”.
Proceed to Saint-Remy-de-Provence where you will enjoy a nice lunch, (drinks not included).
Have a walking tour of the old town and visit the Monastery St-Paul-de-Mausole where Van Gogh stayed for nearly one year. In the old town, stop at the shop of Chocolatier Joël Durand and at the small factory where the Candied fruits Lilamand are made.
Arriving in Arles, check-in at your hotel in Arles for 3 nights and enjoy a free evening.

Full day guided excursion through the plain of Camargue
Visit the “Manade Blanc”: tour the paddy fields on a cart and learn about the rice production
See the bull herd and have lunch at the farm after some appetizer with tellines, (drinks not included). Taste local specialties such as the Fougasse d’Aigues Morte and Saucisson d’Arles
Continuation to Aigues Morte: Tour the salins on the small train.

In the afternoon, visit LUMA, the new Art Center of Arles designed by Frank Gehry, the famous Canadian – American architect who collaborated to build the futuristic Tower with business woman, collector, art patron, impresario, Maja Hoffman.
