Arrival at Athens airport. Meet your guide and driver to go to Nafplion : 170 kms / 2 hour drive. Check-in at hotel for 2 nights.
Morning visit to Mycenae. Walking tour of the ruins with a guide: visit site and local museum – Free time at the site to walk around on your own. Return to Nafplion in the afternoon -free time to walk to the Castle on your own.
Visit Epidaurus as you return to Athens. Guided tour: visit site and Museum Photo stop to see the Canal of Corinth. Orientation tour of Athens before check-in at the hotel for the next 6 nights.
Walking tour of the Acropolis with guide, (no coach). Your ticket is good for 4 days and 6 sites: the Acropolis, the Ancient Agora, the Roman Agora, Kerameitos cemetery, the Hadrian Library and the Temple of Dionysus. After the Acropolis, walking tour of the Agora, including the Museum. Then, visit the Temple of Zeus Monuments close at 3:00 PM In the afternoon, visit the new Acropolis Museum. It closes at 8:00 PM (closed on Mondays)
Morning walking tour of the Pnyx with guide. The Pnyx is the place where the Athenians used to gather to talk on political issues and to take decisions on the future of their town, then go the National Archeological Museum – free time at the museum after the visit No coach, travel by tram or subway.
Full day excursion to Delphi by coach. Early departure, visit site and museum. Site closes at 3:00 PM.
Day at leisure. Time to visit more of the sites included in your ticket. You could also take the tram to go to the coast where the Athenians enjoy the beach in the summer.
Transfer to harbor to take the 3 island cruise: visit Hydra, Poros, and Aegina . Return to Athens and transfer back to your hotel
Transfer to the airport to take your flight back to the U.S.
