Tuesday April 7th, 2026 | B | D

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel.

08h00: Departure by private bus for a guided tour of the Delphi archeological site + museum

11h00: Considered the navel of the world by the ancients, Delphi, a sanctuary graced with a magnificent setting at the foot of Mount Parnassus, was where the Greek spirit thrived. Legend has it that Zeus, father of the Olympic gods, released two eagles, one to the east and one to the west. The point of their convergence, where they dropped the sacred stone, was named ‘Omphalos’ – the earth’s navel. It was at this very site that Pythia delivered Apollo’s oracles upon arrival.

11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.: A visit will be made to the archaeological site, which houses the Temple of Apollo within its sacred grounds, where oracles were given. The Stadium, where the Pythian Games were held to commemorate Apollo’s victory over Python, the rock-carved theatre, and various sanctuaries are also located here. Along the sacred path that traverses the site, the ruins of the “treasures” remain, where Greek cities once stored their offerings to the God. The restored Athenian treasury provides an excellent example.

1:00 – 2:00 pm: Free time for lunch

2:00 p.m – 4:00 pm: : Following lunch, the group will explore the Archaeological Museum. Within its collection are stunning artifacts, notably the iconic bronze Auriga statue from the 5th century BC. This piece stands as a remnant of the numerous dedications made to commemorate victories in athletic competitions.

Return to the hotel around 7:00 pm.
