Group is picked up from the airport and transferred to Manuel Antonio and their host accommodation where they will meet their hosts, have time to settle in and relax. You may have your orientation on arrival subject to flight times.
Today is available for a sightseeing tour such as: Jungle Night Tour or ½ day White Water Rafting or ½ National Park Tour or ½ day Zipline Tour
Jungle Night Tour: Visit Manuel Antonio rainforest after the sun sets, when the jungle takes on a totally different character. This is the best time to observe and photograph beautiful tree frogs, colorful insects, and other rainforest creatures that only come out at night.
Half Day National Park Tour: You will make a short hike into the jungle and from there can choose to relax and enjoy the beach, sunbathe, or trek through the park’s trails. In the park, there are multiple species of monkeys, iguanas, birds, and sloths.
Half Day Ziplining Tour: Kickstart your adventure with a quick 20-minute drive to Santuario Park, an expansive primary rainforest, and soar through the jungle on a zipline experience on one of the world’s longest cables, stretching approximately 1.6 km (1 mile). This action-packed tour boasts a total of 3.6 km (2.2 miles) of zip lines across 10 lines and 14 tree platforms, complemented by thrilling nature walks, suspended hanging bridges, and an adrenaline-pumping rappelling activity. Please note that participants must be comfortable with heights.

Orientation covers an introduction to Costa Rica, customs, language, rules and expectations, safety, and an introduction to your project and placement. Start your project Volunteering activities typically last around 3 to 4 hours. After volunteering has finished for the day, the group will have free time to relax, explore their surroundings, enjoy one of the half day tours or enjoy one of the complimentary activities offered by the local team at their institute.

Weekends are free. Volunteers can enjoy add-on activities for touring, relax, explore independently and immerse yourself and experience the local life.

Passport
