Half day city tour to get a first glance of Buenos Aires. Enjoy a cup of coffee & snacks at famous Café Tortoni, the oldest literati café of the city. On optional basis you can book an Argentina culinary experience in the evening to learn the best of Argentine cuisine and culture together with other international guests.
Flight to Ushuaia. A short city tour orientation with photo stops will give you a first impression of the world’s southernmost city on Tierra del Fuego. Remaining day at leisure to stroll around and visit on your own the End of the World Museum, the old prison and explore some restaurants to try the excellent spider crabs.
Visit to the breath-taking Tierra del Fuego National Park. In the afternoon continue to Estancia Haberton to visit the farm operations of this 1886 founded estancia. Then you will take a short sailing trip to Isla Martillo to watch a colony of Magellan and Gentoo penguins and walk close to them (best penguin season from mid- November “til mid-April).
Flight to El Calafate. The city is situated at the southern border of Lake Argentino and an important hub to visit different parts of Los Glaciares National Park.
Excursion to visit the impressive Perito Moreno Glacier (on shared basis), the world’s third largest reserve of fresh water. The imposing mass of ice, surrounded by endless forests and mountains, is a spectacle that few want to miss. Enjoy the fresh air and the sound of silence, only disrupted by the sound of pieces breaking off the glacier, falling into the ice water. Return to your hotel.
