THE PIRATE’S PORT
Emerald Coast – Dinan to Saint-Malo and Cancale
After breakfast and check-out, the motorcoach departs for the 1-hour, 70km scenic drive to Saint-Malo.
Upon arrival, guests will take a 3-hour guided walking tour of the walled city, Intra-Muros. The tour covers the ramparts, Saint-Malo Cathedral, and the port, highlighting the city’s history.
The afternoon is reserved for free time at leisure.
In the afternoon, the group will check into La Maison des Armateurs.


NORMANDY: Mont Saint Michel & Landing Beaches
After breakfast, the group will drive approximately one hour (57km) to Mont Saint-Michel for a guided tour of the Abbey, lasting two hours. Following the tour, there will be free time for lunch.
The afternoon will be dedicated to touring the Normandy landing beaches to learn about the events of WWII and D-Day. The drive continues from Mont Saint-Michel to Saint Laurent-sur-Mer, a short 15-minute (3km) drive.

At 5:30 pm, the group will drive 30 minutes from Colleville-sur-Mer to Caen. Dinner will be on your own, followed by check-in at the Mercure Caen Core De Nacre for the overnight stay in Caen.

4:00 pm: Continue the drive to Honfleur (18km) (30min).
Honfleur, an artist magnet and beautiful town, is central to Impressionism. Eugène Boudin, Claude Monet’s mentor, was born here. Monet and his contemporaries often painted at the nearby Ferme Saint-Siméon to capture the Seine estuary’s unique light. Visitors can enjoy the estuary from Honfleur’s public gardens and beach, or from the commanding views at the Chapel of Notre-Dame de Grâce.
6:00 pm: Drive continues from Honfleur to Trouville, a charming little town on the Normandy Coast.

Trouville, a charming Norman seaside resort and fishing village, was historically the “Queen of Beaches” and a fashionable 1800s destination for the aristocracy, alongside Deauville. It attracted figures like Monet and Proust.
Visitors can enjoy fresh seafood at La Poissonnerie, the fish market, where local catches are served at nearby restaurants. A market for local Normandy produce, including cheeses, meats, flowers, and crafts, is held between Pont des Belges and La Poissonnerie every Wednesday and Sunday morning. The town center offers culture and shopping with antique shops, art galleries, and boutiques.
Be sure to visit the Musée de Trouville, located in the magnificent Villa Montebello, which chronicles the town’s history through fine arts, paintings, and a gallery of Raymond Savignac posters.

The day starts with breakfast before the motorcoach departs at 8:00 am for Giverny. The morning is dedicated to a 10:30 am guided tour of the iconic Monet House and Gardens, exploring the home and famed water lily pond that inspired Monet.
In the early afternoon, the group transfers from Giverny to Paris. The afternoon includes free time for lunch and personal exploration.
The structured Parisian experience begins at 3:30 pm with an essential 3-hour orientation photo tour of major landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre (exterior), and Notre Dame, focusing on photography tips.
As evening descends, the group enjoys a classic 1-hour Seine River cruise aboard the Bateaux Mouches, offering spectacular views of Paris’s illuminated monuments.
