Aliza Green, the Philadelphia-based pioneering chef known for her work with local farmers and an experienced culinary tour leader. She is the James Beard Award-winning author of fifteen books including Starting with Ingredients, called “indispensable” by the Wall Street Journal, Cooking Light Magazine “Top 100 Cookbook of the Last 25 Years” and Field Guide to Herbs & Spices. Celestial Voyagers has partnered with Chef Green and jointly created a series of unique hands-on cultural tours with a culinary accent for 2025 and 2026.

Francoise is the president and founder of Celestial Voyagers. She graduated with a tourism degree at Nice University in France and has worked as a tour director and operations manager in France, Australia and Mexico. Settling in New York City, she founded Celestial Voyagers with the aim of creating uniquely curated group travel for adults and Academia.
